Your support agent needs to see your screen to help. Follow the three steps below.
A small program that runs once — nothing gets installed permanently. Click the button below to download.
Download QuickSupportWindows 10 or later • No installation required
Find the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder) and double-click it.
Because this is a new program that Microsoft hasn't seen many people download yet, Windows may show a blue-screen warning called "Windows protected your PC". It's safe to continue — here's how:
Your browser may also ask "Keep" or "Discard" after the download — choose Keep.
When QuickSupport opens, a 6-digit code will appear on screen
(e.g. 847 291). Read this code to your support agent over the phone
— they'll use it to connect to your screen.
"This file isn't commonly downloaded" (Chrome/Edge): click the up-arrow next to the warning and choose Keep.
Antivirus blocked the file: temporarily allow it, or ask your IT team to add an exception for this site.
"TightVNC is not installed on this PC": this message appears only if both the built-in screen sharing and your installed TightVNC are missing. Call your support agent — they can walk you through a one-time install.
Still stuck? Call your support contact and describe what you see on the screen. They can guide you through.
